Values

BIBLE STUDY

We seek a growing knowledge and understanding of the Biblical revelation of God to man through His Word, and it’s daily application to guide us into His will. "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth." (2 Tim 2:15) "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness" (2 Tim 3:16)

FELLOWSHIP & DIVERSITY

We believe that Jesus Christ is calling people of all nationalities, ethnicities, and cultures unto Himself. And that there is only one race, and that is human. God does not discriminate based on the color of one's skin, rather, he looks at the heart. Similarly, we value the diversity in God's creation. "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

WORSHIP

We engage in an awakening awareness of God, recognizing His powerful presence, and responding in faithful obedience to His leadership. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish on another in all wisdom, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God." (Col. 3:16)

WITNESS

We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the love and salvation Christ has given with the people in our church, community, and throughout the world. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19-20

SERVING

We minister unselfishly in Jesus’ name to people in our church, community, and throughout the world in real and practical ways, to show the love of Christ. "As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." (I Peter 4:10)

GIVING

We passionately give to others by participating cooperatively with missions and giving to those in need both locally and abroad. "Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Cor 9:7)
